About the event
This session will discuss a) how the absence of regular education monitoring in low-income countries leads to the lack of data and affects educational loss assessment during COVID-19; b) re-shaping educational assessment after COVID-19. ECA-CES launched within the Russia Education Aid for Development Program. It fosters cross-border partnerships of educational stakeholders. Under its auspices researchers developed methodology that can be offered to such countries. The data was collected before the pandemic and provides grounds for further comparison. Session will also discuss building capacities of stakeholders, struggles and priorities in the current situation, good examples of collaborations in place supporting better recovery.
