About the event
The global pandemic has hit our society over the past two years, but it has also been a period of reflection resulting in ESG-based entrepreneurship. Innovative forest-based solutions have been created in order to boost the implementation of 2030 Agenda, ensuring a green and fair recovery, especially in most vulnerable areas to climate change, such as the Mediterranean ecosystems (SDG15). Women have played a key role (SDG4), developing initiatives such as the cork islands to enhance biodiversity, combat land degradation and ensure an holistic and sustainable management of Mediterranean rural areas. The session will gather different solutions to face this challenge and will foster the creation of partnerships to transform our world (SDG17). Potential partners of the event such as Biodiversity Foundation and Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic challenge will be confirmed.
