Follow-up process after first Voluntary National Reviews in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (in Russian)
The majority of Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries from the post-Soviet block presented their first Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) last year. In order to ensure that progress on the SDGs doesn’t slow down, this side event focused on the follow-up process on SDG implementation.
About the event
The majority of Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries from the post-Soviet block presented their first VNRs last year. In order to ensure that progress on the SDGs doesnʼt slow down and the fair recovery is implemented, in this event, we propose to discuss the follow-up process on SDG implementation. This session will overview what has been done after VNRs, the current situation, challenges and provide recommendations for the UNECE region from the civil society side.
