What was the focus in 2021?
The Regional Forum offered seven days of SDG action with 12 virtual peer learning round tables taking place from 10-16 March 2021, followed by the Forum’s hybrid plenary sessions on 17-18 March 2021. The 2021 Regional Forum also gave space to a range of discussions in 20+ side events and various pre-meetings.

Through peer learning round tables the Regional Forum offers a unique learning space where participants can interact with their peers and other relevant stakeholders to exchange experiences and get new impulses for national policy making.

The pre-meetings provide an early opportunity for various stakeholders such as civil society, youth, parliamentarians, business organizations, and academia to meet, share experiences as well as introduce and discuss issues on the agenda, thereby identifying priorities and distilling a common visi

Side events aim to create an additional space for various stakeholders such as the private sector and civil society organisations to share their experience with regards to a specific issue, related to the main theme of the Regional Forum.

Delegates enter the Palais through the Pregny Gate (Portail Pregny - see map) entrance, which faces the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) headquarters on the Route de Pregny. In order to obtain your identity badge from the Security Services, you will be asked to present a valid passport or a national identity card. Your badge is strictly for your own personal use. Please note that delays here are common and lengthy and delegates are unfortunately required to wait in the open air.
