About the event

The Boreal region is a vast expanse of forests, mires and lakes circling the northern hemisphere. Boreal forests play an important role in mitigating climate change, and at the same time they are strongly affected by it. This peer learning session highlighted how boreal forests contribute to the 2030 Agenda and what measures are taken by countries to ensure their sustainable management.
